Aura Bloom Polish | Judgement of Frau Perchta
Judgement of Frau Perchta is a dark green polish with a red/gold/green shifting shimmer.
This polish is inspired by Frau Perchta, an alpine winter goddess and folklore figure in Austria and Germany. During the Rauhnächte (the 12 days between winter solstice and Epiphany) she would visit homes to see if everyone was being obedient, honest, and hardworking or she would harshly punish you. She is sometimes described as wearing white and appearing as a beautiful woman to symbolize her connection to snow and winter, and other times appearing as a terrifying old witch or shape shifter if you did not pass her inspection. In modern day most of us would not pass her high expectations and inspection for one reason or another.
